What does the entropy estimate mean?

Entropy estimates the search space from length and selected character sets. Higher bits mean a larger space to brute-force.

Why exclude ambiguous characters?

Ambiguous characters such as O, 0, l, and 1 can be hard to read or transcribe. Excluding them improves manual entry at the cost of a smaller character pool.
